My wife and I popped in and were greeted by Alessandro who gave us a fantastic tour of the facility as well as the roses. We ended up purchasing beautiful essence, soaps and perfumes. Alessandro’s partner, Viola, served delicious coffee. We loved the experience, loved the products and we valued meeting the lovely owners.

Sou aromaterapeuta e moro no Brasil. Visitando a toscana com a familia me indicaram conhecer o lugar. Como não agendamos e viemos em setembro nao tinha plantação pela estação, mas Lorenzo prontamente nos recebeu, mostrou o lindo processo de produção dos oleos, os absolutos… ele explicou tudo nos mínimos detalhes. Foi uma das melhores experiências da minha vida!

Vale destacar que precisa de agendamento pra conhecer o Lugar!!!

Comprei alguns oleos, um perfume incrivel e hidrolatos!!! Quero voltar futuramente

Lavanda del Chianti was a dream come true for an aromatherapy enthusiast like me. I visited them with my family in May this year. Mr. Lorenzo Domini and his son Alessandro were gracious hosts and took us on a tour of their beautiful farm and vibrant gardens which were filled with aromatic plants. They also showed us the distillery and explained the distillation process in great detail. The highlight was seeing and smelling a variety of aromatic plants especially ones that are not native to or rare in India like Helichrysum and Iris. I bought a few essential oils distilled at their facility. Even though Lavanda del Chianti caters essentially to groups, Mr. Lorenzo was very accommodating and made sure our visit was memorable.
It was a very special day for me and my family. I highly recommend Lavanda del Chianti to anyone who has a passion for aromatics.

Today, we had the fortune of visiting Lavenda Del Chianti, the agricultural institute in Castellina in Chianti.
Here, they cultivate aroma, medicinal, and perfume plants, using them for product manufacturing.
It was a wonderful experience!
It’s advisable to announce your visit in advance, as visitors of course always interrupt the owners’ work.
One of the owners, Lorenzo, took the time to meet with us. We were particularly impressed by the detailed explanations about the production process.
In addition to lavender, they also extract numerous herbs, plants, and roots. The family business has an intriguing history worth exploring.
The essential oils are natural and pure, 100% integral and certified organic, suitable for cosmetic, pharmaceutical, food, or aromatherapy use.
For my husband, a physiotherapist, and myself, coming from the pharmaceutical industry’s Regulatory Affairs field, it was an extremely exciting experience. Our two teenage boys also found it interesting to learn what can be derived from these plants.
We sincerely thank Lorenzo and his team and wish them continued success in their fantastic family tradition.

Purtroppo la mia esperienza e' stata negativa. Durante l'orario di apertura siamo stati rimandati indietro. Non e' stato possibile ne' visitare i campi, ne' la lavorazione e addirittura neanche il punto vendita. Che avevamo fatto un lungo viaggio per arrivare fin qui a vedere la lavanda non e' interessato a nessuno. Non mi sembra che i visitatori siano benvenuti. Peccato, meglio la Provenza.

Me and my family visitid this lovely place just 3 days ago. Normaly the end of July is the end of the lavenda season. Still we tried to go. As we arrived we got a warm welcome of the owner. As were he normally only gives tours to large groups and we came unannouned, he still gave us a great tour through the distillery, he shows us the only blooming field still standing - as in later that afternoon that field would have been cut as well.

Lovely products, cool distillery and so lovely host!

If you would love to visit a lavenda farm in season and you can book via TripAdvisor I would say do it! You will not regret going 🪻🫶🏼

A Tuscan Treasure in Chianti !

Visiting Lavanda del Chianti, next to Castellina in Chianti was an unforgettable experience! Amid the wine-dominated Chianti region, this family-run business offers something unique.

Lorenzo, our host, guided us through their beautiful gardens where they grow lavender, and all kind of flowers (ginestra and elicriso our favourites). We learned about their craft and how they distill aromas and essential oils for niche perfumeries.

The incredible aromas and authenticity made this a refreshing change from commercial tourism. We purchased some beautifully made perfumes and essential oils, adding to the experience. This family business is a must-visit for anyone seeking the true essence of Tuscany beyond vineyards. Highly recommended!

Nachdem wir es auf Google Maps gefunden hatten, sind wir auf gut Glück dort vorbeigefahren. Vor Ort sind wir sehr freundlich empfangen worden und haben von Alessandro alles genau erklärt bekommen, obwohl wir keine Tour gebucht hatten. Eine der wenigen Destillen, die diese Art der Essenzherstellung überhaupt beherrscht und es seit Generationen betreibt. Wer in der Gegend ist, sollte dort anhalten oder, noch besser, vorher eine Tour buchen.

Lorenzo gave an outstanding tour of the property explaining the whole distillation process of many different plants, herbs and variations of oak. The perfumes smell amazing. Such a great experience to take in the Tuscan atmosphere.

Io e il mio ragazzo siamo passati per caso in zona e abbiamo deciso di fermarci in questa azienda coltivatrice di lavanda e altre erbe aromatiche.
Nonostante non avessimo prenotato alcuna visita, il proprietario e suo figlio Alessandro sono stati gentilissimi e ci hanno ospitato comunque nella loro tenuta, ci hanno spiegato nel dettaglio la loro attività e i prodotti che vi ricavano.
Sono persone molto competenti, amanti del loro lavoro e che trasmettono la passione per quello che fanno.
Consigliamo vivamente di prenotare un tour da loro, non ne resterete delusi. I loro prodotti sono ottimi e profumatissimi, tanto che abbiamo deciso di acquistarne alcuni.

Io e il mio ragazzo abbiamo visitato questo posto più o meno una settimana fa e ne siamo rimasti estremamente stupiti. Nonostante non avessimo prenotato ( purtroppo non lo sapevamo) siamo stati accolti benissimo e ci è stato spiegato tutto cioè che bisogna sapere sul loro lavoro. Vi consigliamo dunque di prenotare la visita e di prestare attenzione a ciò che vi verrà detto perché è molto affascinante. È un’esperienza che consigliamo di fare se vi trovate nel Chianti , non resterete delusi ne dalla bellezza dei campi e ne dalla storia e il lavoro che c’è dietro.
Non esitate a provare e comprare i loro prodotti perché più naturali di questi non troverete.
Un grazie speciale ad Alessandro che ci ha guidato con molta simpatia.
